How this started...
Prior to 2023 the furthest I'd traveled was to Alaska. My parents were set to have their 20 year anniversary in June of 2009 before the unimaginable happened. Rather than cancel the trip my mom hauled an 11 and 12 year old across the country and on the adventure of a life time. Our new adventure just the three of us. She became the rock, the role model, both parents, and a whole lot more.
In 2013, she would again haul us across the country to go on a cruise to the Bahamas. In 2018 my sister would head off to Japan to teach English as a second language with my moms old foreign exchange student while my mom and I went on a cruise to Mexico. It started the whirl wind of trips that would lead us to today.
